INTERACTIVE LEARNING CENTERS
Above are examples of interactive learning centers that I have created. Each center align to Pennsylvania standards to support and engage students in the classroom.
BULLETIN BOARDS
Below are examples of bulletin boards that I have created. The interactive bulletin board was created to engage and support the students learning.
HANDS ON EXPERIENCES
Above are examples of two hands on experiences taught while student teaching. In the first photograph, the students observed how drinks with sugar affected the egg shell. The egg shell acted as the enamel on the students teeth during dental week. The second photograph shows how students completed an escape room using their vocabulary and spelling words in line with a story.
ANIMAL HABITATS
In the slideshow above are photographs of animal habitats completed by kindergarteners as a culminating experience of habitats. The students learned about the desert, ocean, forest, rainforest, and artic. Each student created their own individual habitat with the assistance of the teacher and aid.
THE ALBERTOSAURUS MYSTERY
In the photograph below the students are researching a dinosaur for the culminating experience for the text. The students were assigned an individual book to read and research from to create a PowerPoint presentation.
CHILDREN'S LITERATURE
These are a few pieces of literature that I have used within my classroom.
