CLIP SYSTEM
In the picture below is an example of the clip system that has been put into place. When a student is out of the room the clips on the left are moved to mark their location. The clip magnets are organized based on the students homeroom or English group. This allows for limited interruptions and independence in the classroom. On the right the students in homeroom have clip magnets that are moved due to the students behavior throughout the day. After lunch each day the students are asked the reasoning to their clips location and the teacher then determines if the student is out of warnings for the week (in which they are given five) or if they owe recess time. This allows the students to own up to their behavior and decide the best way to make a change.
